It's New Year's Even which means it is time to ring out the old year and ring in the new.  On the special day, Olmissouri.com and other media members were given a tour of the Dallas Cowboys' new stadium, which will also become the new home of the Cotton Bowl Classic.

The Cowboys' new stadium, which has yet to be formally named, will seat approximately 80,000, but will have the ability to expand to as many as 100,000 seats for events such as the Super Bowl.

Just like it's predecessor, the Cowboys' new stadium will have the trademark hole in the roof. But unlike Texas Stadium, this one will have a retractable roof that can be closed during inclement weather.

The first Cotton Bowl will be played in the stadium in January 2010 and when completed, it will be the largest indoor stadium in the National Football League.

Meanwhile, in downtown Dallas, it was the annual New Year's Eve Parade where for Cowboy running back Emmitt Smith was the grand marshall. The streets were packed with Arkansas and Missouri fans. Marching Mizzou even took part in the parade.

Afterwards, there was a brief pep rally outside of American Airlines Center where fans showed their support while the band, cheerleaders, and the Golden Girls performed.

Tuesday is finally gameday with kickoff set for just after 10:30 AM from the Cotton Bowl Stadium.
